ASAO – Membership Coordinator

The Association of Show and Agricultural Organisations (ASAO) represents more than 200 agricultural shows and has almost 300 members across the UK. The Association provides year‑round support, shared learning, sector guidance and opportunities for collaboration within the agricultural and rural events community. ASAO works to strengthen connections across the sector, share best practice and support the delivery of safe, successful and engaging shows.

ASAO has opened recruitment for a new Membership Coordinator; a key role supporting members and helping to deliver the Association’s core activities throughout the year. Arrangements are in place to ensure continuity of service for members during the recruitment period.

The Membership Coordinator will act as the friendly first point of contact for ASAO members, supporting onboarding, renewals and communications, maintaining accurate CRM records and assisting with the delivery of the Annual Conference and Learning Day. The role is 20 hours per week, averaged across the year, home based with some national travel and is well suited to someone who is organised, confident and comfortable working independently.

Thee Counties Show – Shows & Livestock Executive (Maternity Cover)

The Three Counties Agricultural Society are recruiting for a Shows & Livestock Executive on a 9–12 month maternity cover contract, starting November 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at the Three Counties Showground and play a key role in delivering their major events, including the Royal Three Counties Show, CountryTastic and the Malvern Autumn Show.

role covers a wide range of responsibilities, from managing livestock entries and liaising with exhibitors, to supporting show operations, preparing documentation, and helping deliver high‑quality livestock competitions across the season. It’s a varied, hands on position within a busy and well established shows team.

Royal Cornwall Show: Sales Executive

The Royal Cornwall Show are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Sales Executive to join the team at the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association.

This is a varied role with the opportunity to drive sales across both the Pavilion Centre and Royal Cornwall Events Centre, while also supporting sponsorship, advertising and hospitality opportunities for the Royal Cornwall Show.

The successful applicant will build relationships with clients and agents, generate new business, conduct venue viewings, develop proposals and find opportunities to maximise sales across our year-round events programme.

They are looking for someone who is:

  • Confident and personable
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Commercially focused with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • A strong communicator and relationship builder
  • Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities

Previous experience in venue sales, hotels or events is desirable, but not essential – they are looking for the right person and the right attitude.

Based at the Royal Cornwall Events Centre, Wadebridge

Full-time position (some evenings and weekends required)
